Overnight Camping: $20/night Fee
If you camp overnight at Silver Creek or Wilson Lake in Idaho, you will pay a new $20 per site, per night fee starting September 11, 2026. The sites include tent and trailer spaces, picnic tables, toilets, fire rings, access roads, and visitor protection.
Future Fees at Magic Reservoir Campgrounds
Five Magic Reservoir campgrounds (Moonstone, Lava Creek, Lava Cove, Myrtle Point, and Richfield Diversion) will begin charging expanded-amenity recreation fees once each site is upgraded to meet Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act requirements. Fees at those campgrounds will start when all required amenities are available or on September 11, 2026, whichever is later.
Magic Reservoir Boat Ramp Fees: $10/day or $75/year
Using BLM boat ramps at Magic Reservoir (Moonstone and West Magic, and East Magic once repaired) will cost $10 per day or $75 for an annual pass. These boat-ramp fees will begin when the ramps meet expanded-amenity requirements or on September 11, 2026, whichever is later.
