Notice

Summary

The EPA said no to requests from the Center for Biological Diversity to block air permits for three DCP Operating Company compressor stations in Colorado. This means the permits stay as they are, letting the company keep running while following current rules. If anyone wants to challenge this, they have until May 11, 2026, to take it to court.

EPA Denies Objections — Permits Stand

The EPA Administrator issued an order on December 4, 2025, denying petitions from the Center for Biological Diversity that sought to object to Title V operating permits numbered 21OPWE446, 21OPWE431, and 21OPWE434 for three DCP Operating Company compressor stations in Weld County, Colorado. Because the EPA denied the petitions, those permits remain as issued and the facilities remain authorized to operate under those permits.

Deadline to Seek Court Review

Under Sections 307(b) and 505(b)(2) of the Clean Air Act, anyone seeking judicial review of the portions of the EPA order that denied petition issues must file a petition for review in the United States Court of Appeals no later than May 11, 2026. This is the last date to challenge the EPA Administrator's December 4, 2025 order denying the petitions.
