Deadline to protest plats
If you want to protest one or more of these Alaska plats, the BLM must receive your written notice of protest by April 15, 2026. The protest must identify which plat(s) you challenge and be mailed to or delivered to the BLM State Director at 222 West 7th Avenue, Anchorage, AK 99513.
Protest delays official filing
If the BLM receives a notice of protest before the scheduled official filing date, the official filing of the protested plat(s) will be stayed until the protest is dismissed or resolved. A written statement of reasons must be filed within 30 calendar days after the notice of protest if not filed with the notice.
