Analyzed Economic Effects

4 provisions identified: 1 benefits, 3 costs, 0 mixed.

New $5,000/month BBO Digital Media License

The Exchange is adding a NYSE American BBO Digital Media Enterprise Fee of $5,000 per month. This subscription lets vendors, television broadcasters, websites, and mobile service providers redistribute real-time best-bid-and-offer information to an unlimited number of users for informational, non-trading purposes only.

Combined License Lowers 2-Feed Price

If a subscriber pays the Digital Media Enterprise Fee, they may also get enterprise use of NYSE American BBO and/or NYSE American Trades at no extra cost, so a combined subscription for both enterprise and digital media use would cost $5,000 per month instead of $8,000 per month.

Distribution Limited to Non‑Trading Uses

Data distributed under the Digital Media Enterprise license may be shown via television, websites, and mobile devices only for informational, non-trading purposes; vendors are not permitted to provide the feed in a context where a trading or order routing decision can be implemented.

Subscriber User‑Count Reporting on Request

The Exchange continues to require that a data recipient, upon request, provide the Exchange with a count of the total number of natural person users (professional and non‑professional) of NYSE American BBO and NYSE American Trades.
