ASL interpreting access for D/HH staff

Deaf Access Solutions, Inc. is approved to see pesticide information submitted under FIFRA and the FFDCA, including material claimed as Confidential Business Information, so it can provide American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting for deaf and hard-of-hearing Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP) staff. This access will start no sooner than 5 days after the notice was published in the Federal Register and is intended to let contractors attend meetings and interpret for D/HH OPP employees.

Contractor access to FIFRA/FFDCA CBI through 2030

EPA will give Deaf Access Solutions, Inc. personnel access to information submitted under all sections of FIFRA and the FFDCA, which may include Confidential Business Information (CBI). Access is on a need-to-know basis, requires nondisclosure agreements, security briefings, prohibits use or disclosure outside the contract without prior written EPA approval, and will continue until December 31, 2030 (and will continue if the contract is extended).
