Local Rail Service Extended to 3/30/2027

Grainbelt Corporation can keep using BNSF tracks between milepost 668.73 (Long, OK) and milepost 723.30 (Quanah, TX) to serve local customers and access the Plains Cotton Cooperative Association facility near Altus, OK. The extension runs through March 30, 2027 and can be effective on or after April 30, 2026. GNBC and BNSF state no new fees or service changes are expected while the trackage rights continue.

Affected Rail Employees Protected

Any employees affected by the trackage rights acquisition will be protected under the conditions set in Norfolk & Western Railway, 354 I.C.C. 605 (1978), as modified in Mendocino Coast Railway, 360 I.C.C. 653 (1980). These protections apply as a condition of the exemption that may be effective on or after April 30, 2026.
