Franklin Ethereum ETF Moves to Generic Listing
If you own shares of the Franklin Ethereum ETF, the Fund will transition to list and trade under the generic Commodity-Based Trust Shares standards in Amended Rule 14.11(e)(4). The Fund must meet and follow the continued listing requirements of Amended Rule 14.11(e)(4).
Listing Change Effective Immediately
The Exchange filed the change on April 6, 2026 and asked the SEC to waive the 30-day delay; the Commission designated the proposed rule change to be operative upon filing, so the transition is effective immediately upon filing. The Commission may still act to suspend the change within 60 days of the filing and is accepting comments through May 11, 2026.
Exchange Says No Competitive Burden or Cost Impact
The Exchange states that the proposed change "does not believe that the proposed rule change will impose any burden on competition" and the summary provided notes there is no expected impact on costs.
