Final SNAP‑Ed Reports: Large Reporting Burden

State, local, and tribal governments and not-for-profit implementers (197 respondents) must submit SNAP-Ed State Plans and annual reports through the N-PEARS electronic system; the collection is annual and the agency estimates a total of 186,455 burden hours. The State Plan is submitted by August 15 each year and the SNAP-Ed Annual Report is due January 31 each year; N-PEARS was launched in fiscal year 2023.

SNAP‑Ed Funding Ends After FY2025

Public Law 119-21 (section 10107) ends required funding of the SNAP-Ed program with the fiscal year (FY) 2025 grant allocation. Because funding is ended, the information collection is being renewed so States can submit their final SNAP-Ed annual reports prior to program closeout.
