Federal Contractors Keep Recordkeeping

If you are a federal contractor, you must continue the existing recordkeeping required by the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) under 41 CFR part 60-300; the Department of Labor is requesting a 3-year extension (OMB Control No. 1250-0004) without changing current requirements. The agency estimates 32,482,058 respondents, a total annual time burden of 4,267,338 hours, and $356,313 in annual other costs; public comments are due by May 26, 2026.

Continues Veterans' Employment Protections

The Department of Labor will continue collecting information under VEVRAA to support enforcement of veterans' fair employment opportunities; the information collection is being extended for three years to help ensure veterans get fair job opportunities. The public may submit comments to OMB through May 26, 2026.
