Statewide Emergency Protective Reimbursement

All 82 counties in Mississippi plus the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians are now eligible for reimbursement for eligible emergency protective measures (Category B) under the Public Assistance program. This amendment was issued January 28, 2026, and the assistance is limited to direct Federal assistance under the Public Assistance program.

These cover programs such as Community Disaster Loans, Crisis Counseling, Disaster Unemployment Assistance, Disaster Housing Assistance, Public Assistance grants, and Hazard Mitigation.
