Crow Tribe Household Disaster Aid

On November 14, 2025, FEMA appointed Kenneth C. Williams III as the Federal Coordinating Officer for the Crow Tribe of Montana disaster, replacing the prior officer. This keeps federal disaster assistance available to tribe members, including Community Disaster Loans (CFDA 97.030), Crisis Counseling (CFDA 97.032), Disaster Housing Assistance for Individuals and Households (CFDA 97.048 and 97.049), Disaster Legal Services (CFDA 97.033), Disaster Unemployment Assistance (CFDA 97.034), and Other Needs assistance (CFDA 97.050).

Public Assistance and Mitigation Grants

The amendment also confirms use of federal grant programs for the Crow Tribe disaster, including Disaster Grants--Public Assistance (CFDA 97.036), Hazard Mitigation Grants (CFDA 97.039), and Fire Management Assistance Grants (CFDA 97.046). These programs support repair, mitigation, and emergency fire response for the declared disaster starting under the updated appointment on November 14, 2025.
