Arkansas: Federal emergency aid for all counties
The President declared an emergency for Arkansas on April 5, 2025 (FEMA-3627-EM). All 75 counties in Arkansas were designated for emergency protective measures (Category B) limited to direct Federal assistance, and Federal Public Assistance funds are limited to 75 percent of total eligible costs.
Declared disasters authorize many assistance programs
Across the 38 Presidential declarations and amendments issued between April and October 2025, FEMA identified multiple assistance programs available for reporting and drawing funds, including CFDA 97.030 (Community Disaster Loans), 97.032 (Crisis Counseling), 97.034 (Disaster Unemployment Assistance), 97.048 (Disaster Housing Assistance to Individuals and Households), 97.036 (Disaster Grants—Public Assistance), 97.039 (Hazard Mitigation Grant), and others. These program designations indicate which types of federal help may be available in designated areas.
Missouri: New Individual Assistance counties added
On October 22, 2025, the Missouri major disaster declaration (FEMA-4872-DR) was amended to add Individual Assistance for Bollinger, Butler, Cape Girardeau, Carter, Cooper, Dunklin, Howell, Iron, Mississippi, New Madrid, Oregon, Ozark, Reynolds, Ripley, Scott, Shannon, Stoddard, Vernon, and Wayne Counties, and Washington County was added for Individual Assistance.
Texas: Uvalde County added for Public Assistance
An amendment to the Texas major disaster declaration (originally dated July 6, 2025) added Uvalde County for Public Assistance, including direct Federal assistance. This makes Uvalde County eligible for Public Assistance under that disaster declaration.
Crow Tribe (Montana): Public Assistance authorized
A major disaster was declared for the Crow Tribe of Montana on September 11, 2025 (FEMA-4887-DR). The declaration authorizes Public Assistance for the Crow Tribe, and Federal Public Assistance funds for this disaster are limited to 75 percent of total eligible costs.
New Mexico: Emergency incident period closed Aug 5, 2025
An amendment to the New Mexico emergency declaration (FEMA-3628-EM) was issued August 18, 2025, stating that the incident period for that emergency is closed effective August 5, 2025. A related major disaster amendment (FEMA-4886-DR) also notes the incident period closed effective August 5, 2025.
