Wiscons8, LLC requested a Clean Water Act section 401(a)(1) water quality certification on March 18, 2026. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has one year — until March 18, 2027 — to act, and if it does not act by that date the certification is deemed waived under section 401(a)(1) of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. 1341(a)(1)).
