Grants to Expand Producer Markets

The USDA Natural Resources and Conservation Service is running the Advancing Markets for Producers initiative (formerly Partnerships for Climate-Smart Commodities) to help producers create new markets, improve supply chains, enable direct-to-consumer sales, and support co-ops and shared infrastructure. The program uses Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) authorities (15 U.S.C. 714–714f) to support long-term economic sustainability for producers and their communities.

Reporting Burden for Grant Applicants

Businesses, academic institutions, and not-for-profit institutions that apply for these grants must provide information to determine eligibility and to report progress. The agency estimates 125 respondents with reporting frequency semi-annually and a total burden of 4,250 hours; the OMB control number is 0578-0031, and comments are requested by June 10, 2026.
