Commercial Broadcast Permit Paperwork Burden
The FCC requests OMB extension for OMB Control No. 3060-0027, covering applications (Form 2100, Schedule A and Schedule 301-AM/FM) to construct or modify commercial AM/FM broadcast stations. The collection lists 3,092 respondents, 4,199 responses, estimated time per response of 0.075 to 6.25 hours, a total annual burden of 12,435 hours, and total annual cost of $61,420,108.
Noncommercial (NCE) Permit Burden & Tribal Priority
The FCC requests OMB extension for OMB Control No. 3060-0029, covering Form 2100, Schedule 340 for noncommercial educational (NCE) FM/DTV construction permits. The collection lists 2,820 respondents and responses, estimated time per response of 0.5 to 6 hours, total annual burden of 6,603 hours, and total annual cost of $30,039,119. Schedule 340 is used for reserved-channel NCE applications and may be used by Native American Tribes and Alaska Native Villages to qualify for the "Tribal Priority."
