National Rosie the Riveter Day Act

Summary
Designates National Rosie the Riveter Day to honor the more than 6 million American women who joined the U.S. workforce during World War II and to preserve their contributions across factories, shipyards, farms, and other industries. The bill would add the observance to Title 36 of the U.S. Code, request an annual Presidential proclamation, and urge state, territorial, tribal, local, and educational authorities to mark the day with ceremonies and programs, with March 21 during Women’s History Month noted as an appropriate date.
