Summary
Recognize nurse registries as providers in the Veterans Community Care Program. This bill would require the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to accept nurse registries for veterans' community care. It would make registries that supply registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, home health aides, companions, or homemakers eligible under the program. The bill would define a "nurse registry" as an entity that arranges contracts for those workers to provide health or support services and that meets applicable State licensure requirements.
