College credit and cost help for Defense school students
This bill would let the Defense Department’s school system (DoDEA) partner with colleges. Students in DoDEA high schools could take college classes and earn both high school and college credit. DoDEA could help pay program costs, like tuition and fees. You must be enrolled in a DoDEA school and not yet have a regular high school diploma. Credits must count toward a college degree or recognized credential and toward high school. If enacted, this would take effect upon enactment.
