2 provisions identified: 1 benefits, 1 costs, 0 mixed.

Rosie coins in 2028 with set limits

If enacted, Treasury would mint three Rosie the Riveter coins in 2028 only. Up to 50,000 $5 gold (at least 90% gold), 400,000 $1 silver (at least 90% silver), and 750,000 half-dollar clad coins could be made. Coins would be sold in uncirculated and proof and be legal U.S. money. Designs would honor diverse WWII Home Front women and include 2028, Liberty, In God We Trust, United States of America, and E Pluribus Unum. The Secretary would consult the Rosie the Riveter Trust and the Commission of Fine Arts, with review by the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee.

Surcharges on coins fund Rosie park

If enacted, the Mint would price each coin at face value plus a surcharge and full production costs. Costs include labor, materials, dies, machinery, overhead, marketing, and shipping. Surcharges would be $35 on the $5 coin, $10 on the $1 coin, and $5 on the half-dollar. The Mint would offer reasonable discounts for bulk sales and for prepaid orders. After Mint costs are recovered, surcharges would go to the Rosie the Riveter Trust for park repairs, maintenance, and education, subject to audit. The Secretary would run the program at no net cost to taxpayers, and no funds would be paid out until all Mint costs are recovered. A surcharge could not be included if this would exceed the annual limit of two commemorative coin programs.
