Extend vector-borne disease programs through 2030
If enacted, this would extend federal efforts on ticks and other vector-borne diseases for fiscal years 2026 through 2030. State and local health departments and regional centers would keep authorized support to track, report, prevent, and respond to these diseases. The strategy would consult appropriate individuals instead of one named working group, broadening expert input. It would take effect upon enactment and does not set funding amounts.
