Summary
Redeveloping individualized vocational rehabilitation plans. This law changes Title 38, section 3107, to set clearer rules for when the Department of Veterans Affairs updates a veteran's individualized vocational rehabilitation plan. VA must redevelop a plan if a change in a veteran's employment handicap makes the original long‑range rehabilitation goals infeasible and a different plan is more likely to achieve those goals. The Secretary may disapprove redevelopment when doing so would be inappropriate.

VA must update job rehab plans
Veterans in VA’s vocational rehabilitation program can get their plan updated after review. The law requires VA to redevelop your plan with you if your long‑term job goals are no longer feasible due to a change in your employment handicap. VA must also find that a different plan is more likely to reach those goals. VA may deny an update if it decides redevelopment is not appropriate. This change takes effect upon enactment.
