Parkinson's presumed job-related for federal firefighters

This bill would add Parkinson's disease to the list of illnesses presumed caused by federal fire protection work. With this presumption, federal firefighters who develop Parkinson's would have an easier path to workers' comp medical and disability benefits. It would apply to federal employees engaged in fire protection activities under 5 U.S.C. 8143b. The change would take effect upon enactment. It would not add funding or make other program changes.
