New Veterans Health Care Stamp
If enacted, the Postal Service would issue a special Veterans Health Care stamp each year. The stamp would be issued in time for Veterans Day and its design would be set by USPS. Money from stamp sales would be transferred to the Department of Veterans Affairs under 39 U.S.C. 416(d). The VA would use the money to help pay for veterans' medical care and treatment. Buying the stamp would be voluntary and the bill does not set a fixed dollar amount.
