If enacted, this bill would set the federal meaning of “showerhead” to match ASME A112.18.1-2024. Safety shower showerheads would be excluded. The Energy Department would have 180 days after enactment to update its rules to use this definition. Makers and stores would get clearer rules about which products are covered. Homeowners and renters would see which showerheads are subject to federal standards; the bill itself sets only the definition.

This removes that tax from those estates. - Donors and high‑net‑worth individuals would still face a gift tax, but under a tiered schedule from 18% to 35% and a $10 million lifetime exemption that is indexed for inflation after 2011. - Generation‑skipping transfers made on or after enactment would not be subject to the GST tax.
