Parents and teachers get AI chatbot guidance

This bill would direct the FTC to publish free resources on safe AI chatbot use by minors. Not later than 180 days after enactment, the FTC would consult other federal agencies and post the materials publicly. The guides would cover how to spot safe and unsafe use, privacy and data collection, and tips for parents supervising kids. The resources would be modeled on the FTC’s Youville program.
