Summary
Expands eligibility for Health Profession Opportunity Grants to include hospitals. This bill would add hospitals, as defined in section 1861(e) of the Social Security Act, to the list of entities that can receive Health Profession Opportunity Grants alongside community-based organizations. The amendment takes effect October 1, 2025 and incorporates hospitals into the existing HPOG statutory framework for awarding grants.
