Summary

Awards a Congressional Gold Medal to Welles Remy Crowther for his bravery and sacrifice during the September 11, 2001 attacks. The bill would direct the Secretary of the Treasury to strike a gold medal bearing Crowther's image and name and present it to his mother, Alison Crowther. It would also allow the U.S. Mint to sell bronze duplicates at prices that cover production costs and to use the Mint Public Enterprise Fund to pay medal expenses.
