Sponsored By: Representative Rep. Ezell, Mike [R-MS-4]

Introduced

Summary

Extends the National Flood Insurance Program through November 21, 2025. This bill would amend two date provisions in the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968—Section 1309(a) for financing authority and Section 1319 for program expiration—by replacing the prior September 30, 2023 dates with November 21, 2025, thereby keeping NFIP operations and its financing authority in place through that date.
