Full staffing to answer calls 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time on weekdays. This bill would require the Commissioner of Social Security to ensure each Social Security Administration office is staffed to answer telephone calls during those hours, Monday through Friday excluding Federal holidays, with the requirement taking effect January 1, 2027.
