Summary
Makes unauthorized access to intelligence community property a federal crime. This bill would add a new section to the National Security Act of 1947 making it unlawful within the United States to enter or access any property under the jurisdiction of an intelligence community element that is clearly marked as closed or restricted without authorization. Penalties are tiered: a first offense can carry up to 180 days in prison and a fine, a second offense up to 3 years and a fine, and a third or subsequent offense up to 10 years and a fine.
