Summary

Treats national grassland grazers like other federal land permittees. Clearer grazing rules for ranchers

This bill would change one phrase in a federal land law so national grasslands are treated like other Federal land for grazing leases and permits. If enacted, ranchers with grazing leases or who seek permits on national grasslands would see clearer wording about which lands count under FLPMA section 402(a). This would take effect upon enactment. It would not change other parts of FLPMA, Title III of the Bankhead-Jones Farm Tenant Act, or section 11 of the Public Rangelands Improvement Act of 1978.
