Authorizes disinterment of Fernando V. Cota's remains from Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. The bill would require the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to carry out the disinterment within one year of enactment and to notify Cota's next of kin before acting. After disinterment the Secretary would relinquish the remains to any next of kin who respond to the notice or, if none respond, arrange their disposition as the Secretary determines appropriate.

This bill would require the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to disinter the remains of Fernando V. Cota from Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, Texas not later than one year after the date of enactment. The Secretary would not be able to carry out the disinterment until the Secretary notifies Cota's next of kin. After disinterment, the Secretary would relinquish the remains to the next of kin who respond to that notification. If no next of kin responds, the Secretary would arrange for disposition as the Secretary determines appropriate.
