More admin funding for SBIR and STTR
This bill would raise the SBIR and STTR administrative set-aside from 3% to 3.3% and extend that authorization to September 30, 2030. It would require DoD, DOE, HHS, NASA, and NSF to transfer at least 10% of certain SBIR/STTR-related admin funds to the SBA within two months after an appropriations law for that agency. The bill would let agencies use some admin funds for outreach and technical help to increase awards in low-award States. Transferred funds would not be allowed for programs under the Small Business Investment Act of 1958.
