- Workers and families: People receiving Pandemic Unemployment Assistance, the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation boost, mixed earner payments, or extended Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation would lose those federal payments after the 30 day cutoff.
- States and funding: The bill would rescind unobligated balances that were set aside in the extended unemployment compensation account of the Unemployment Trust Fund and bar states from entering or reentering agreements to provide the federal emergency increase.
- Administration and transition: The Secretary may keep paying certain state payments and cover administrative expenses during the transition. The Unemployment Trust Fund’s normal administration would continue while those program authorities wind down.

It would stop Pandemic Unemployment Assistance, Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation, Mixed Earner Unemployment Compensation, and Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation. The bill would also rescind unused CARES Act money set aside for those emergency payments 30 days after enactment. States could not enter or reenter agreements for the federal supplement program on or after enactment. The federal government could still pay states some administrative costs.
