Summary

Equal eligibility for the District of Columbia: this bill would add the District of Columbia to the McIntire-Stennis Cooperative Forestry Act's list of eligible recipients so DC could receive cooperative forestry research and related funding on the same basis as states and other units of government. It preserves the Act's existing funding framework and program structure while extending eligibility to the District of Columbia.
