More infrastructure grant access for tribes
If enacted, tribal governments would be added to the list of governments eligible for Defense Community Infrastructure Program grants. Tribes would be able to apply on the same footing as local governments. The bill would also define "Indian tribe" using the definition in 25 U.S.C. 5304. The bill does not itself add new grant money; it only changes who can apply.
