Agent Orange medal for veterans
This bill would require the Secretary of Defense to design and produce an "Agent Orange Veterans Service Medal." You would be able to request the medal if the VA certifies you as eligible because you receive VA compensation under 38 U.S.C. 1116, 1116A, or 1116B, or are a Vietnam-era herbicide-exposed veteran under 38 U.S.C. 1710(e). The Secretary of Defense would be able to provide the medal to the next of kin of eligible deceased veterans. The Secretary would also have to prepare and share an application for eligible veterans and next of kin to apply.
