Summary
Transfers about 232.9 acres of the Pleasant Valley Ranger District administrative site in Tonto National Forest to Gila County, Arizona for use serving veterans. Land for veteran services in Gila County
If enacted, USDA would transfer about 232.9 acres at the Pleasant Valley Ranger District in the Tonto National Forest to Gila County, if the county asks in writing within 180 days. The county would pay no purchase price, but would have to cover all costs, like surveys and environmental and historic reviews. The deed would be a quitclaim, with no federal warranty, and the transfer would be subject to existing rights and any terms the Secretary sets. The land would have to be used only to serve and support veterans. If used for anything else, the land could revert to the United States; a survey and filed map would set the exact description.
