National Tribal Colleges and Universities Week would designate the week starting February 2, 2026 to honor Tribal Colleges and Universities and call on Americans and groups to observe the week with programs and activities. The resolution notes 34 Tribal Colleges and Universities operate on more than 90 campuses in 16 states and serve students from over 250 federally recognized tribes. It highlights that alumni added $3.8 billion to the national economy in fiscal years 2022–2023, supporting about 40,700 jobs, and cites benefit ratios of $7.50 for students, $1.60 for taxpayers, and $4.80 for society for every $1 invested.
