National FFA Week designation: This resolution would designate February 21–28, 2026 as National FFA Week and formally recognize the National FFA Organization for developing future agricultural leaders. It notes FFA was founded in 1928, has more than 1 million members in 9,407 chapters across all 50 states, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the District of Columbia, and works with over 13,000 advisors and agricultural education teachers to build leadership, career readiness, and technical skills. It also celebrates the 50th anniversary of the State of Alaska’s FFA Association, now comprising 19 chapters and 493 members.
