The resolution would commend and congratulate Petty Officer 3rd Class Scott Ruskan for extraordinary bravery and extend deepest gratitude to Coast Guard personnel, Federal and State agencies, first responders, and volunteers who risked their lives. He enlisted on September 28, 2021, was his company’s Basic Training Honor Graduate, completed Aviation Survival Technician A‑School in July 2024, serves at Air Station Corpus Christi, and was the sole triage coordinator at the Camp Mystic site.
