This resolution would designate January 30, 2025 as a CTE and RHI Awareness Day to focus attention on chronic traumatic encephalopathy and repeated head impacts. It would also encourage federal health agencies to publish education materials and recognize researchers, donors, patients, and caregivers.

- Families, patients, and caregivers: Would recognize people who may be suffering from CTE and RHI and their families and caregivers, and highlight symptoms that can appear years later and have been observed in patients as young as 17.
- Athletes, veterans, and other high-risk groups: Would note higher risk among contact sport athletes, military veterans, survivors of domestic abuse, and people with epilepsy.
- Researchers and brain donors: Would thank doctors, researchers, and people who participate in studies and donate brains for research.
- Public health agencies and education: Would encourage the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institutes of Health to include CTE and RHI information in concussion education and to inform the public about symptoms and contributing factors.
- Public observance and prevention: Would encourage Americans to observe the day with ceremonies and activities that promote awareness, support, and efforts to stop the disease.
