More concussion help for officers

If enacted, the CDC would collect and share information on concussions and traumatic brain injury in public safety officers. The CDC website on TBI would be updated and other ways to share guidance would be developed. The information would target medical and public health workers, employers and employee representatives, mental health professionals, patients and families, and college researchers. The Secretary would consult those groups when making content. The Secretary could work with nonprofits, labor groups, other agencies, and the media. The Secretary could also fund model guidelines and best practices through grants, contracts, or cooperative agreements.
