Big cuts to U.S. foreign aid

If enacted, this bill would cancel about $8.254 billion in unspent foreign aid and international program funds. It would also rescind roughly $563 million for international organizations, $562 million for multilateral programs, $125 million for USAID operations, and $15 million for the U.S. Institute of Peace. If enacted, this bill would rescind amounts made available for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting for FY2026 and FY2027. The clause does not specify dollar amounts in this text. These rescissions would reduce grant support for public broadcasting.
