Authorizes the Gateway Arch Park Foundation to host private events inside Gateway Arch National Park buildings under agreed conditions to protect the park. If enacted, the Secretary could recover all costs from private events at the Gateway Arch. If you host an event under the Foundation agreement, you would pay fees to cover wear and tear and maintenance. The Secretary could also recover administrative and personnel costs, notwithstanding other law. The agreement would require liability insurance that protects the United States and list the United States as additionally insured. Private events at Gateway Arch

If enacted, the Secretary could make an agreement with the Gateway Arch Park Foundation to host private events in Park buildings. The agreement would name any exclusive dates and times, set a maximum number of Foundation events per week, and require appropriate National Park Service staffing. Private events would have to be consistent with park purposes, not degrade the park, and not block public use or access. The National Park Service could still host or permit other events.
