This bill would let the Environmental Protection Agency keep its marine debris and plastic waste programs authorized through 2030. States, cities, tribes, nonprofits, and some small businesses would still be able to apply for grants and support. It would not add new programs, funding levels, or rules. If enacted, the extension would take effect upon enactment.
