This bill would require the Secretary of Agriculture to convey parcel 850-10555-001 at 1069 Fourche Avenue, about 0.81 acres, to Perry County if the county submits a written request within 180 days of enactment. The conveyance would be by quitclaim deed, made without consideration, and would remain subject to valid existing rights and a federal reversion if the land stops being used for public purposes such as education and youth development. Perry County would pay all costs for the conveyance, including any needed survey, environmental reviews, and historic preservation analyses. The Secretary would not be required to provide any covenant or warranty and may include terms to protect the United States' interests.
