Summary
Add the 74 names of the USS Frank E. Evans crew killed on June 3, 1969 to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. This bill would require the Secretary of Defense to authorize the inclusion of those names within one year of enactment. The Secretary must consult the Secretary of the Interior, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, and other applicable authorities about name wording and placement if space is limited. It would also exempt those actions from Chapter 89 of Title 40 (the Commemorative Works Act).
