2027 pay raises for federal employees

If enacted, this bill would raise basic pay for many federal employees in 2027. For statutory pay systems, basic pay rates would increase by 3.1% for calendar year 2027. For prevailing rate (Wage Grade) employees, basic pay rates would increase by 3.1% for fiscal year 2027. That prevailing-rate raise would use rates in effect on the last day of fiscal year 2026 as the baseline and would waive the usual wage survey. The bill would also raise locality pay by 1% for calendar year 2027.
