Restore National Park Service jobs
If enacted, the Interior Secretary would use funds already appropriated to refill vacant National Park Service jobs. The bill would require filling all maintenance staff positions and ensuring parks are fully staffed for visitor safety and resource protection. If you were involuntarily removed or fired from NPS employment between Jan 20, 2025 and Feb 25, 2025, you would be reinstated.
Continue funded National Park projects
If enacted, the Interior Secretary would be allowed to keep carrying out National Park Service projects that already have authorized or appropriated funds. This applies to projects funded under the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act, the Great American Outdoors Act, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act. Contractors, nearby communities, and park visitors could benefit from continued work.
